here's the out of character chat, where you can come to introduce yourself and stuff. all the in character and out of character games are located here, as well as thread trackers and open thread listings. as much as we love to interact our characters, we might as well love interacting with other members behind the characters. so now that you've read the rules and checked out the face claim to make sure you're favorite face has not been used, this little board contains a free-style application form. you can write as little as you want or as much as you want, as long as the required stuff has been filled out. when your character's name changes color, you've been accepted to the site. (:

so now that you've read the rules and completed the required application form for the site, your character's record will be moved in here once you've been accepted. it's separated into two categories; chicks and dudes. this helps us figure out the ratio of boys and girls in northshore. you can always come back here to add or delete information from their record.

this little section is for spiffy little plotting pages. you know, the ones where you show a cute image of your character, explain a little bit about their past and their personality, and then ask around for friends, enemies, lovers, etc. this section is not where those lyric templates go, just so you know. unfortunately we do not offer those on this site. no one really uses it.

all the necessary means of social communication can be found in here. from cell phones, instant messaging, online web blogging, gossip updates, twitter updates, facebook pages, journals/diaries, etc. there's even a little section where characters can be anonymous and send a letter of love or hate to the person of their choosing. so, let the socializing begin. home sweet home, whether your character lives at a hotel, in an apartment, on the streets, in the trailer park, in a decent home, etc. some of the college students have preferred to live on campus while the local college students either reside at home with their family or on their own. some even live at a farm, but that's not likely in this modern world. you never know.

a few miles towards the center of downtown, northshore university has a huge campus for students of different diversity. it's a diversity university, get it? aha, okay... that was lame. anyway, just when you thought high school drama was bad enough, wait until you get into college. yes, just like in the movies, the students do drink their alcohol from red plastic cups.

when there's nothing to do during the weekdays (while the weekends are full of party plans), all other entertainment needs are filled in downtown northshore. if you want to grab a bite to eat, go watch a movie at the drive-in, skate at the local park, get a tattoo of your favorite song lyrics, or whatever else you can think of... going downtown is the place for it.
